Our main priorities are customer satisfaction and the high number of flight hours our aircraft have. We know that our aircraft are constructed for a long service life. That’s why we offer a range of services to support our aircraft’s entire life cycle.

Aero has provided maintenance, repair, and overhaul services since 1966. We support more than 45 military L-39NG, L-39, L-59, and L-159 aircraft operators, in particular the Czech Air Force.

The main service we provide for our new L-39NG aircraft is the Maintenance Advantage Plan, which is the most efficient plan and reduces aircraft operating costs. It consists of payment per aircraft flight hour, where as part of the payment the customer has a precisely defined service that will be provided to them depending on the use of the aircraft.

L-159 Alca

Maintenance, repairs, overhauls, modernisation, and logistics support

L-159s are still part of many armies around the world. In order to ensure their full utilisation and maximise their service life, Aero performs the following post-warranty service.

    To shorten delivery times and increase flexibility, it’s best to use the follow-on support service (FOSS) customer contract.

  • Overhauls

    Maintenance Repair & Overhaul
    Aircraft operability extension
    Overhauled aircraft fulfil the same requirements as completely new aircraft coming off the production line, and have the full Aero guarantee.
  • Modernisation – service life extension programme

    Service life consumption and extension programmes
    Aero has continually developed new modifications for the L-159 so that the aircraft is always stays up-to-date, and in a configuration that can fulfil the requirements of the present and future military.

L-39 Albatros

Customer support throughout the entire life cycle of the L-39 Albatros.
In order to ensure the airworthiness of the L-39, despite the increasing age and number of hours flown, new maintenance and overhaul methods are used.
As an OEM, Aero offers a comprehensive maintenance programme for the L-39, which enables it to fly for decades to come.

  • Overhauls

    Maintenance repair & overhaul
    An overhaul literally gives an aircraft a “new lease of life”. We use unique know-how, documentation, and overhaul methods to ensure safe and reliable future operation.
    Overhauled aircraft fulfil the same requirements as completely new aircraft coming off the production line, and have the full Aero guarantee.
  • Service life extension programme

    Service life consumption and extension programmes
    The service life of the L-39 is limited by cumulative fatigue, which is determined primarily by the amount and frequency of vertical load during operation.
    If the aircraft is operated within the recommended design spectra, the aircraft’s actual service life in terms of flight hours exactly corresponds to the entries in the log book, and can reach 3,000–4,500 flight hours (depending on the version).
  • Remotorisation

    For L-39 operators that want to increase their aircraft’s performance and availability, Aero offers the option of remotorising existing aircraft with new Williams International FJ44-4M engines with an output of 16.87 kN.
  • Logistics Support

    We provide full after-sales support (spare parts, services, training, consulting, etc.)
