Technometra will participate on production of landing gears for Epic and Cirrus

18/12/2008 | Shortly before the end of the year, Technometra Radotín, a traditional producer of landing gears based in Prague, Czech Republic, won two new orders – for production of landing gears for the LT aircraft for Epic Aircraft and for production of landing gear dampers for the SR22(20) aircraft for a second American company Cirrus Design.

“We are proud of our recent success in winning the two orders despite the recent financial crisis temporarily affecting the world economy, and that we can further develop the production of critical aircraft structures which we have been specializing on for more than 70 years – the production of landing gears and their components,” said Ladislav Simek, CEO of Technometra. Deliveries for Cirrus will start in February 2009, for Epic in March 2009.

“This year, Technometra has year-on-year increased its revenue by 50% and in following two years, this growth rate will get even higher. At the same time, we plan to hire several dozens of new employees in 2009 in the context of these and other new projects,” added Simek.
Technometra Radotín a.s. is a traditional producer of landing gears, control blocks, hydraulic units, actuators and other assemblies for aircraft and helicopters. The Company has had extensive experience in development and production of landing gears since 1930s, having produced more than 10,000 units. The Epic LT aircraft is a six-seat turboprop aircraft, combining the latest composite technology and advanced avionics.
