2007: Aero will show profit of CZK 200 million

"We managed to significantly speed up the restructuring project – the overall strengthening of the Company," said Peter Ondro, President of AERO. The original plan was to show profit from 2008. The total revenue should reach up to CZK 4.1 billion (year-to-year increase by 39%).

In 2006, AERO showed loss in the amount of CZK – 964.3 million (CZK -1.377 billion in 2005). The 2006 revenue increased by 22% up to CZK 2.94 billion (CZK 2.414 billion in 2005). The revenue was distributed the following way: 97% revenue for own products and services, 3% revenue from sale of goods. The increase in the revenue was mainly influenced by a significant increase in the production volume of the Sikorsky Program and launching new military contracts, especially the L-59T overhauls. The export reached the amount of CZK 2.735 billion (93% of revenue) and increased compared to 2005 by 26.4%, mainly thanks to higher volume of deliveries and reaching better price conditions of the Aerostructures programs. The S-76C helicopter production had the decisive share in the export.

The total loss in 2006 (CZK -964.3 million) was created by operational loss (CZK -667.1 million), financial loss (CZK -294.9 million) and extraordinary loss (CZK -2.3 million).
