AERO Vodochody a.s. has already completed and expedited 150 helicopters for Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC). The anniversary 150th Sikorsky S-76 helicopter (s/n 760674) was expedited today.

30/03/2007 | CzAF L-159 aircraft fleet has reached 10.000 flight hours
“The Czech Air Force L-159 aircraft fleet has reached its first 10.000 flight hours (FH). The ten thousand’s FH was preformed by the L-159 s/n 6064 piloted by Capt. David Reha on March 23, 2007 on the prestigious NATO Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP) in Florennes, Belgium.

Dne 28. března 2007 u příležitosti zahájení prototypových letových zkoušek vojenského cvičného letounu L-159T1 v.č. 6069 navštívili společnost AERO Vodochody a.s. (AV) první náměstek ministryně obrany Martin Barták a náčelník Generálního štábu Armády ČR (AČR) genpor. Vlastimil Picek.

08/03/2007 | First L-159T1 for the Czech Air Force makes its maiden flight
March 8, 2007 at 2:44 PM, the first out of a total of four two-seat training L-159T1 aircraft for the Czech Air Force (CzAF) has taken off from the factory airport of AERO Vodochody a.s. (AERO) and made its maiden flight.

So far deeply loss-making company AERO Vodochody a.s. (AERO), which has so far been showing loss in the amount of approx. 40 million Czech crowns (CZK) monthly, will again show profit from January 2008.

AERO Vodochody a.s. (AERO) has finished assembly of the first out of a total of four two-seat training L-159T1 aircraft (s/n 6069) for the Czech Air Force (CzAF). The assembly comprises of complete equipment with all devices and primary verification of some of its systems.

The Czech-Slovak private equity group Penta, as the sole shareholder of AERO Vodochody a.s., has announced first changes in the management bodies of AERO today. Above all, Mr. Peter Ondro’s (49) appointment as the Company’s new President.
