Quality Assurance

The Quality Department offers the following services:

• Nondestructive tests (NDT – PT stationary or mobile, RT, MT, UT, including tests of bonded parts and composite assemblies)
• Special nondestructive measuring – Borescope, Tapping
• Material tests – Sigmatest, Spectrotest, Stiloscope
• Mechanical tests of materials or parts (ultimate load, hardness – all methods, including Super Rocwell, Shore A and D, IRHD)
• Long-term mechanical hydrogen embrittlement tests after surface treatment
• Tests of water quality – total dissolvent residue and particle size or weight method
• Abrasion resistance test on anodizing or painting systems
• Complex methalographic tests, including preparation of specimens
• Test of function and parameters of aircraft devices and electronic systems
• Tests/verification/calibration of measuring instruments (instruments of lengths, pressure and underpressure, twist moment, 3D dimension or design on devices with limit dimension X axis 9000 mm)
• Consultancy on nondestructive testing (attendance NDT Level 3 in all NDT methods) and examination

All tests are carried out by qualified personnel with valid certificates according to CSN EN 4179, NAS 410 ČSN EN 473 and standards of the customers. AERO Vodochody a.s. owns modern equipment with necessary accuracy, metrological succession to ČMI, or accredited laboratories respectively.
